How to Double Click and Open RPD in obiee 11g

When we try open the repository from the repository folder in OBIEE 11g, we see the following screen


                                                                   

To Resolve this problem , here are the steps :

1) Choose the option  Select the program from a list

                                                                      

2) Next the below screen appear which prompts you to select the desired program. Click on browse and navigate to <MW_Home>/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/server/bin and select admintool.exe as shown in the diagram

3) Check “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file” and click OK.

4) Now double click on rpd and you should be able to open the rpd by just double clicking .

 

From next time , you can directly open the rpd from the repository folder.
